A letter to Flynn fans....

MY FRIENDS, it feels like years!

My time in the Bay with you all is something that has travelled with me on my continued journey, much because you at the window looking in are so massive in number, so well distributed geographically & so committed as to have any former resident on the receiving end of a ’Hey, it’s YOU’, or a simple ‘Hello’ in the most unimaginable places.

I had the good fortune during my time to meet a great many of you, whether at appearances, on set, location, or just about & I include the self appointed ‘Flynnerators’ in that count. Those focused on Flynn’s infuriatingly faultless nature & as I said then – His ways & words are not my own. But I’m glad you thought so.

Despite the support that was shoveled my way during our time, it was in London when the rumour mill struck & word of my departure was confirmed that I realised the level to which the true viewer commits; in truth, it’s not dissimilar to the level of commitment required of the actors themselves & for that I wish to thank you & in some sense, apologize for the departure.

Having witnessed such things, it occurred to me that the PUBLIC nature of this game is a deceptive device.

What has one support, follow, even encourage the path of another in this world? Indeed I have found it to be something of a very intimate nature & it’s that connection, that relationship that I have missed most...

I have however remained faithfully on target & in measured time, YOU, the Originals, shall be invited in to scrutinize my most recent offerings, as that which bought us together once, weaves its magic in uniting us again.

With that, let me share a final THANK YOU & close in saying, I look phenomenally forward to being back in your company again & that I do strive to continue earning what you all so freely gave me in our time together.
