Martin played Rock Star Johnny Lake in Satisfaction. Johnny was a drug addicted, egocentric, dealing with clinical impotency due to his narcotic dependency, despite the Rock Star persona he delivers on stage every night. This combined with an estranged infant daughter that is being protected from him by her mother, a former groupie that became Johnny’s first real love story. Johnny was the fateful experience that was to destroy Madeleine West’s perceptions of self & have her character re invention established for the remaining series.
