THE STORY

Born in Bondi Beach, Sydney Australia to Georgina Dingle & Eddie Wall, Martin is the younger brother to Jamie & the older brother to Sally.

Martin left academic studies behind at sixteen to graduate with a Graphic Design diploma at eighteen promptly joining the ranks of Walt Disney Television Animation. Martin would remain in this role for the next three years before taking his earnings at twenty-one and backpacking around the world.

This road took him through Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and America over the next three years, but it was an impromptu theatre experience in Vancouver that would introduce him to his hearts work. Arriving back in Australia at age twenty-four Martin enrolled himself in various acting courses in Sydney and began his path.

Freelancing as an Illustrator to fund his acting studies, Martin secured an agent and commenced the process of audition rooms, short films, theatre, commercials, and bite-sized parts progressively became his full time activity.

Martin was cast as Flynn Saunders in Australia’s most awarded television show Home & Away, turning him into a household name and earning him his first Nomination for “Best New Talent”. After two wonderful years in this role, Martin would leave Flynn behind in pursuit of new acting experiences.

Heading back to theatre, Martin ventured abroad once more this time to England where he worked with some of UK’s finest such as the revered Honor Blackman and Jacqueline Bisset. This period also saw Martin draft his first two screenplays before returning to Australia to set up his own Production Company ‘Alchemy Film Productions’.

Producing his first Feature Film ‘The Nothing Men’ he worked alongside two of his most admired actors, whilst enjoying a return to what would become a reinvention of Australian Drama on such shows as ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Underbelly – A Tale of Two Cities’, ‘Rescue Special Ops’, and his own show ‘COPS L.A.C.’

Martin now resides in Los Angeles, Hollywood, with the rest yet to come..
