| THE STORY
Martin Dingle Wall was born & raised in Bondi Beach, Australia.
He is the middle child of Georgina Dingle & William Edward Wall, with his older brother Jamie an Airline Captain & his younger sister Sally Vice President of Animal Liberation N.S.W.
Martin was raised on the North end of Bondi as a nipper with the North Bondi Surf Life Savers Club, he was schooled in Rose Bay Public (Junior School), Waverly College (Senior School) & Randwick T.A.F.E. (Graphic Design Diploma).
After graduating from the 2-year diploma at T.A.F.E. at age 18 Martin promptly joined the ranks of Walt Disney Television Animation Australia as an in-betweener where he remained for three years before taking his savings at age 21 and purchasing a one-way ticket to Europe.
The following three years spent traveling Europe, Scandinavia & Canada was the experience required for Martins doors to truly open up.
Returning home at age 24 Martin commenced his studies at the Actors centre. Freelancing as an Illustrator to fund his studies , Martin secured an acting agent (Sue Barnett & Associates), commencing his access into audition rooms. Freelancing subsided as various television commercials & bit-sized parts were booked building his reputation in the acting community.
In 2001 Martin became a household name being cast as Flynn Saunders in Home & Away & attended his first Logies as a nominee for ‘Best New Talent’.
After a rewarding 2 years in the role of Flynn Saunders, Martin decided to not extend his contract following the urge to explore new projects.
INSPIRATION
I am inspired by the 1 PERCENTERS.
The activists. Those who ask the questions. Why? How come? Says who? Those that don't take things at face value. Who don't always bend with popular opinion.
Who put their body on the line for their beliefs. Who see the big picture when most see only tomorrow. Societies struggle to accept them. Governments try to ignore them.
But they cannot be silenced lobbied or bought off. They are driven to protect this planet of ours. Belief is all they have. All they need. And they fight on all our behalf's.
We do not thank them. There will be no monuments built in their name. They will never be asked for their autograph. We will not know their names.
But without them, who is speaking for the trees? Who will speak for the rivers, the seas, the wild places? Who will speak for the air we breathe?
Indeed, who will speak on behalf of this planet of ours?
WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT. WHAT IS WORRYING IS OUR DESIRE TO DO SO.
