Flynn Saunders arrived in Summer Bay as a pit stop. He was requiring making some extra cash by applying his counseling skills at the local Drop in Centre and utilizing these recourses to continue searching for his missing sister.

Flynn was serving as a Medical Doctor on the front line in East Timor when he received word from his father that the delicate relations between his father & sister had finally erupted, a growing concern since the death of their mother from Cancer.

The fathers call was driven by urgency as by that time, Flynn’s sister had been missing for over a month.

Flynn however did not expect to meet Sally Fletcher during his short stay, the popular local schoolteacher and was certainly not prepared for the feelings that developed for her. When is anyone prepared?

With his sister still to find, Flynn could not stop in his tracks despite his love story having begun. Flynn very quickly became an integral part of the people and the lives surrounding him in Summer Bay, but his battle depend as his obligations lay elsewhere.

My time in Summer Bay with you all during my Home & Away years has traveled with me on my ongoing journey.  So massive in numbers is the Home & Away audience & so well distributed across the world that in the most unlikely places you can receive a warm smile of familiarity. I left Home & Away for no other reason than I had done a couple of years in Summer Bay & simply put, as the fire in the belly burns for a new experience, this impulse must be followed in order for your work or life to be fully realized.

I have kept busy since on many of my own creative projects as well as the good fortune of continuing to be employed to tell others stories. Both pleasures in their own rights!

It was such a great experience being charged with the role of Flynn Saunders & it has been generous to me beyond the city limits of Summer Bay.  If I may, I shall invite you all to scrutinize & even enjoy some of my more recent offerings & I look very forward to re kindling the connection we once shared thanks to Flynn, Home & Away & Summer Bay.
